[accordion-item title=”+how would you describe your photography style?”]I specialize in newborn, maternity, and family photography with a lifestyle approach. This means that I focus on capturing emotions and the relationship between you and your family rather than focusing solely on posing and props. I believe that a parent’s love for their children is the most important thing in the world. It shapes their soul and fosters a perspective on life that can’t be bought or easily taught. I invite the subjects in my images to share that love with me so that I can better capture moments that become so much more years down the road. There is so much beauty behind these treasured heirlooms because they display each family’s unique relationship as well as their love for one another.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+what happens after i book my session?”]After you book your session we will discuss your overall vision, we will choose a location, and I will assist you with clothing selection from my studio collection or your personal wardrobe. During your session I will work with your family to encourage natural, meaningful interactions that are aesthetically beautiful. After your session I will select the best images, hand edit each one, and deliver the high resolution finished images to you via an online gallery.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+when is the best time to schedule my session?”]Please contact me as soon as possible to ensure a wide variety of dates to choose from. I schedule sessions Monday through Saturday. All outdoor sessions take place around 2 hours before sunset, and indoor sessions can take place anytime before 2, but mid-morning is usually best.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+What should I wear?”]The color, style, and fit of your clothing are very important factors to consider when planning your session. After you have booked your session we will discuss in further detail what to look for when piecing together outfits from my studio wardrobe collection, your own closet, or from your favorite shops. I will help you put together a flattering, coordinated wardrobe for you and each member of your family.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+how do we choose a location for our session? is travel included?”]Location is another very important factor to consider when planning your session. I have many locations that I can suggest, but please feel free to let me know if you already have something in mind. I especially love when clients are able to find access to unique places such as a boat on the lake near your home, a gorgeous ranch on a friend’s property, etc.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+what if my child doesn’t sleep/cooperate?”]Snack or nursing breaks are more than acceptable in the middle of a session. I’m a Mother so I completely understand how stressful that can be. Please do not stress! I am very patient, and am more than happy to do whatever it takes to make your children happy. Even if that means making animal sounds, silly faces, or taking a breat to play a game of tag![/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+what happens if it’s supposed to rain during our outdoor session?”]I do not penalize anyone for rescheduling due to inclement weather. I also have an in-home studio that we can use, and access to a few other gorgeous studios in the area.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+do you offer digital files?”]Digital files are included with all collection options.[/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+how long will our session last?”]You can plan on taking photos anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours. I do try to work quickly to make your experience as stress free as possible, but I don’t impose a time limit on my clients. I understand that sometimes children and newborns aren’t always as cooperative as we would like them to be![/accordion-item]
[accordion-item title=”+where should i print my pictures?”]I offer prints, albums, and canvases through my professional lab, but if you would prefer to print your photos yourself I recommend Nations Photo Lab or Mpix. *Please do not print your images through Shutterfly, Target, Walmart, or CVS. These labs are not equipped to print professional photos.*[/accordion-item]
