So I found these models to do a maternity session with…just kidding they’re a real life couple! How gorgeous are they?! Nichole is just about the loveliest soon-to-be Mama I’ve ever seen, inside and out. When she told me that she wanted to do her photos by the lighthouse on Vashon Island I was thrilled! If you live near the Puget Sound, you probably know that we have a lot of islands throughout the sound, and they’re all gorgous! This was my first time on Vashon, and I was swooning over the cute little town I drove through and all of the farms I passed. Including a lavender farm…that I’m dying to shoot at 
Everything was so picturesque so it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a little weekend get away! I shot half of these with my film camera and the other half digitally. I’m so in love with this couple, this location, and how everything came together. Nichole is due any day so stay tuned for some pretty newborn photos soon *fingers crossed*!

I hope you loved this session just as much as I did! If you’re wondering about the location at the end with the gorgeous patio, those were taken at the cutest little Airbnb just a few miles down the road from the beach and the lighthouse. It was a bit dark inside so not the most ideal for photos, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. Who knew that we have places like this practically in our backyard? Kind of makes me want to move to one of the islands!
