Welcome to the world, little Tate! I’m so lucky to be a newborn photographer in Seattle because I was able to meet this rainbow baby! If you’re unfamiliar with the term, a rainbow baby is a child that was born following a loss. Rainbows appear after a storm and they symbolize hope that things can get better. Having experienced loss myself, I always feel so privileged to be part of such a joyful part of a families life. There is always so much emotion present during these kinds of sessions, and everyone always expresses their feelings in a different way. It was obvious that this Mama was so thrilled to see her two boys interact, and her oldest son was definitely excited to have finally gotten to meet his new baby brother. And Daddy was definitely baby hungry đ There is nothing sweeter than a teeny newborn fresh from heaven!
